About Boat-Comparator
Boat-Comparator is the boat rental meta-search: one search queries the major platforms (Boataround, SamBoat, Click&Boat, GlobeSailor) and ranks real offers by price. The service is free, requires no account, and booking always happens directly on the platform you choose.
Who is behind it
Boat-Comparator is built and operated by Tech-Bharat, a French software and AI engineering agency founded by Clément Lacaille. The team builds products that make opaque markets readable — boat rental, where the same boat lists at different prices depending on the platform, is a textbook case.
Our mission
To do for boating what flight comparators did for air travel: show the real price, fees included, across every platform — and let you book wherever the deal is best. We sell nothing ourselves: in time the service will live on platform affiliation, without ever raising the price you pay.
Where the data comes from
Every offer displayed is real and queried live at the moment of your search: Boataround's public API, and the public structured data (schema.org) of SamBoat, Click&Boat and GlobeSailor pages. Platforms without public access (GetMyBoat, Boatsetter) are shown as "partnership required" rather than simulated — we never invent an offer. Responses are cached for a few minutes to stay polite with the platforms.
Our public statistics come from an automated nightly reading of displayed prices, destination by destination, with an open methodology. The price ranges on destination pages draw on those readings and on observed prices.
