Saint-Tropez shows the deepest yacht supply we record on the Riviera: 10 to 17 yachts per search across ten weekly readings since 8 July. Unlike most ports, the median rises as the season ends: about €7,140 a day for August departures, €7,490 for September, €7,990 for October. The most expensive listing stays near €20,000 a day.

With a stable number of yachts but a rising median, the mix shifts toward larger units late in the season. Our readings cannot say why; they do say that waiting for October will not lower the typical price here.

A yacht day in Saint-Tropez: observed prices

Expect from €2,500 per day for a 15-metre yacht with skipper, and €5,000–12,000 for 20 to 27 metres in July and August. Budget tip: departures from Cogolin, Grimaud or Sainte-Maxime, a few minutes away across the gulf, are often priced below the legendary Saint-Tropez quay for exactly the same cruising grounds.

The programme that built the legend: anchor off Pampelonne for lunch at a beach club (the yacht's tender drops you ashore), a swim in the Canoubiers bay below the famous villas, then, sea permitting, the turquoise water of Cap Taillat and l'Escalet beach to the south.
