The tramontane, from the north-west, can raise a short, choppy sea along the whole length of the lagoon and strengthen markedly in the afternoon. Leave in the morning, watch the forecast, and return before it freshens. In an established tramontane, stay near the sheltered northern shore and shorten your plans. Most operators cap the zone to the lagoon itself, which makes the outing very relaxed.
