A misleading median, and a €80 entry price

Reading of 19 August 2026 for an 18 September outing: 63 offers, median €1,100 per day, first offer at €80, the dearest at €7,063. By category on that same reading: RIB €336 median (8 offers, from €174), sailboat €336 (7 offers, from €93), motorboat €1,100 (34 offers, from €80), catamaran €1,418 (5 offers, from €1,183), yacht €3,780 (9 offers, from €2,662). That €1,100 median is the best counter-example on the site: it sits higher than in Ibiza town (€834, read the day before) even though the entry price is lower — because 34 upmarket motorboats out of 63 offers pull the sample up. Like for like, RIB and sailboat both come out at €336 on either side of the island. See "from" price or firm price and choosing the right platform.

Two yacht clubs below the town, Tagomago offshore

Departure is straightforward: the Club Nàutic Santa Eulària and Marina Santa Eulalia sit side by side below the town (OpenStreetMap records). The Ibiza-town marinas — Botafoch, Marina Ibiza, Club Naútico, Ibiza Magna, PortIbizaTown — are 11-12 km away by road, Nautic Sant Antoni 21 km on the other side of the island. Ibiza’s east coast is the sheltered one: in the lee of the prevailing westerlies, with gentle easterly thermals in season. The classic programme fits into a few miles — the private islet of Tagomago, Es Canar and Cala Nova, then Portinatx and the Moscarter lighthouse if you push north. It is a markedly more family-friendly stretch of water than the Es Freus. See Ibiza and Formentera by boat, anchoring right and the marinas around Santa Eulària.

September in Santa Eulària: −21%, the sharpest Balearic drop we log

Between August and September outings, the median falls from €1,392 to €1,100 per day, about −21%: the steepest fall across our Balearic bases, ahead of Palma (€1,171 → €1,040) and Ibiza (€934 → €873). That back-to-school cliff is no accident: a 2015 study by García Sastre, Alemany Hormaeche and Trías Villar in Tourism Economics shows that after twenty years of regional deseasonalisation policies, Balearic tourism demand remains at the same level of seasonal concentration as in the 1990s (see the study). In other words: the September drop in visitors is structural, and that is precisely what makes the late season worth it for the renter. A reminder of the Spanish rule: no qualification required up to 15 hp (11 kW) on a hull of 5 m maximum, in daylight and within 2 nautical miles of shelter. Santa Eulalia's waters, in practice

Ibiza’s more family-friendly, sheltered east coast, between pine-fringed beaches and small islets. Wind-wise: a coast in the lee of the prevailing westerlies, with gentle easterly thermals in season.

Departures, day-trip classics and season

Departures: the Santa Eulària des Riu marina, below the town. The local classics: the private islet of Tagomago, Es Canar and Cala Nova, and Portinatx and the Moscarter lighthouse to the north. High season: from May to October, the pace staying gentler than Ibiza town.
