Survey of 4 September 2026 for a 4 October departure: 15 yachts, a €2,522 daily median, from €679 to €19,957 — a 1-to-29 ratio, and the 10th highest ceiling of our 139 bases surveyed for this type. Two details beat the median. First, the ceiling of the yacht catalogue is also the ceiling of the whole city: the day's 97 offers stop at that same boat, €19,957. Second, the yacht floor, €679, sits below Split's all-category median of €730 — in other words, the first listing tagged "yacht" costs less that day than a median outing in Split. That is a sign to read the listing rather than the label: length, crew and fuel policy make the whole difference. In the same category and the same week, Dubrovnik comes out at €2,856 on 27 offers (surveyed 6 September) and Zadar at €1,530 on 8 offers (1 September); Kaštela, 7 km away, gives €2,000 on 3 listings and Hvar €3,133 on 4 — two samples too thin to be medians, given here as isolated examples. Split therefore lands 12% below Dubrovnik on a catalogue half the size, and 65% above Zadar. In Trogir and Šibenik the category barely exists: one and two listings recorded, both dated August. On qualifications, in Croatia a recognised licence is mandatory for any motorboat, whatever its power, and a VHF qualification is requested for liveaboard units; no license-free offer has ever been recorded in Split, on any date.
