Boat rental in Vodice: compare every platform
Vodice is a major charter base in Dalmatia: sailboats and catamarans mostly rent Saturday to Saturday. Boat-Comparator compares the available fleets across the major platforms live, with firm weekly prices.
50 offers, €495 median: our freshest reading
Reading of 29 August 2026 for a 28 September outing — the most recent of our ten bases this week: 50 offers, median €495 per day, first offer at €171, the dearest at €3,900. The spread is moderate, a 1-to-23 ratio only, a long way from Palermo’s 1-to-127: Vodice rents family cruising boats, not display units. By category: the RIB comes out at a €380 median across 6 offers (€190 to €550) and the yacht at €1,110 across 6 offers (€510 to €3,900) — the cheapest yacht of our ten readings, less than a quarter of Vilamoura’s (€4,300). The sailboat, at a €234 median across 5 offers, comes from a 22 August reading and the catamaran (€692, one offer) from an 8 August reading: we date them rather than blend them in. See "from" price or firm price and choosing the right platform.
80 marinas within 60 km: the best-equipped base of the ten
This is the record of this week’s ten readings: 80 marinas within 60 km, against only 7 in Kaş. The first is 800 m away, ACI marina Vodice and its 273 berths — the largest capacity logged across the ten bases — then Vodice harbour at 1 km, Marina Tribunj at 2.7 km, Sovlja at 3.8 km, Marina Zaton at 4.5 km, and ten kilometres out the entrance to Šibenik bay: Luka Zablaće and Luka Šibenik at 9.7 km, Solaris Yacht Marina at 10.7 km, Marina Pirovac and D-Marin Mandalina at 10.8 km (OpenStreetMap records). That density has a measured flip side: a study by Nuša Cukrov and colleagues, published in 2024 in Sustainability, analysed nine metals across 40 sediment samples from the karstic Krka River estuary in Šibenik bay; it records marked enrichment in manganese, copper, zinc, lead and arsenic in the lower estuary, and principal component analysis points to the former ferromanganese factory and the port as the main sources (see the study). The clear water of the Kornati starts a few miles further offshore. See the marinas around Vodice and our Šibenik base.
September in Vodice: +9%, a gap that means nothing
The median moves from €408 for August outings to €444 for September ones, i.e. +9%. We read it neither as a rate rise nor as a signal: on a catalogue of this size, a gap under ten percent is composition noise — the same caution as in Korčula, where the move is −2%. What our readings do say clearly is that Dalmatia does not run the steep shoulder-season discount seen in Liguria (La Spezia, −27%). One point to settle before comparing: Croatia requires a recognised qualification for any motorboat, whatever its power, and asks for a VHF certificate on liveaboard units. The two offers logged at €171 and €198 in the "license-free" category therefore do not escape that rule: ask the operator for the exact arrangement. See last-minute rental and all our Croatian bases.
Vodice's waters, in practice
The Šibenik riviera, island-studded water between Prvić and the Kornati approaches. Wind-wise: the classic Dalmatian regime, afternoon maestral and calm nights, the bora staying rare in summer.
Departures, day-trip classics and season
Departures: the Vodice marina, right in the resort centre. The local classics: car-free Prvić and its two villages, Tijat and Logorun, and the Šibenik ria towards the Krka falls. High season: from May to September, as befits a lively seaside resort.
How it works
One search, four catalogues: Boat-Comparator queries Boataround, SamBoat, Click&Boat and GlobeSailor at the same moment, gathers the boats available in Vodice and sorts them by real price. Booking then happens with the operator, under its guarantees — free, no account.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a boat rental cost in Vodice?
Roughly €100–250 per day for a license-free boat, €200–600 for a RIB, more for motorboats, sailboats and catamarans. Boat-Comparator compares the real prices published by the platforms at the time of your search.
Do I need a license to rent a boat in Vodice?
Careful in Croatia: a recognised license is mandatory for any motorboat, whatever its power (and a VHF qualification is requested for liveaboard units). True bareboat "no-license" rental does not exist — the options are a skippered trip or a recognised foreign license (ICC among them). Check this point before comparing prices.
