The marina 700 metres away, then the Tagus docks

Cascais marina is 700 metres from the centre; after that, the chain of estuary basins runs on towards Lisbon — Oeiras at 9.3 km, Algés at 16.3 km, Pedrouços at 17 km, Bom Sucesso at 18.3 km, Belém at 19 km, Santo Amaro at 21.3 km, Alcântara at 22.1 km, Doca da Marinha at 25.3 km and Seixal at 28.2 km: 21 harbours inside the 60 km radius (OpenStreetMap data, ODbL). What decides things here is the wind. A study by Pedro Soares, Rita Cardoso, Álvaro Semedo and colleagues, published in 2014 in Tellus A, establishes the climatology of the Iberian west-coast low-level jet — the nortada — from 19 years of reanalysis downscaled to 9 km: the jet is present on almost 70% of summer days, its hourly frequency exceeds 30% in summer and falls back to about 10% in spring and autumn, and its core, between 300 and 400 m altitude, averages 15 m/s with peaks at 25 m/s (see the study). Two caveats: those speeds are the jet's aloft, not the wind felt at the surface, and the study covers the whole Iberian west coast, of which Cascais is directly part. A summer that is rigorously flat on price

The median is identical for August and September outings: €559, across three readings each side. Cascais does not negotiate its shoulder season — unlike Sitges (−12%) or Fethiye (−12%) on the same dates. The October reading comes out higher (€790), but on a single reading: we give it as such, without drawing a trend.
