Reading of 24 August 2026 for a 23 September outing: 64 offers, median €588 per day, first offer at €175, the dearest at €16,790. The notable fact is not the median but the floor: in Valencia nothing rents below €175, where the first offer drops to €58 in Marbella, €65 in Cassis and €81 in Barcelona, Empuriabrava and Göcek. It is the highest floor of the ten bases read this week — worth knowing if you are after a top-up outing under €100, which simply does not exist here. An America’s Cup marina at the city’s doorstep

Valencia inherited a waterfront rebuilt for the America’s Cup, and it shows in the departure points (OpenStreetMap records): La Marina de València is 500 m from the centre, followed by the Real Club Náutico de Valencia (3.9 km) and Valencia Mar (4.3 km). To the north, Port Saplaya (5.4 km) and Port Esportiu Pobla Marina (11.6 km); to the south, along the Albufera, Port del Saler (8.9 km), Port de Catarroja (9 km), Embarcadors Séquia del Port (9 km) and Port de Silla (12.6 km). The shore is straight and sandy — the Malvarrosa and Patacona beaches first, then the Albufera dune coast. That last environment is among the most studied in Spain: a study by Miguel Martín and colleagues, published in 2020 in Ecological Engineering, retraces half a century of measurements and shows that the Albufera lake went from clear water to a hypereutrophic state under urban, industrial and agricultural discharges, its restoration depending first on cutting nutrient inputs (see the study).
